December 4th 2011

It's Sunday. You know what that means? Church! Yep, I definitely have to go to church on Sundays. So what did I learn about in church today you might ask. Well let me tell you, from the beginning.

Last night, my mother skillfully reminded me that I had fast offerings the next morning. I complained, of course, but set an alarm as she had suggested, so that I could wake up in time to fulfill my priesthood responsibilities. I set my alarm for seven in the blessed a.m. That was definitely a mistake.

This morning I awoke to the song 'Written in the Stars' by Tinie Tempah. Yes, that is how you spell his name. I did not rejoice that I had woken up so early in the morning. I realized almost immediately after I had waken, that I did not have to be out of bed until ten o' clock. That's what really irked me.

So I went back to sleep, after setting an alarm for ten. But instead of waking up pleasantly at the appropriate time, I slept through my alarm. Few things are worse than that. Breaking your femur and going into labor are like the only two things I can think of that would make me feel worse than that.

I did not wake until my mom called me at 10:30. The conversation went a little like this. "Hello?" "Do you know what time it is?" I looked at my phone. "Oh crap!" Yeah, that's pretty much what happened. So I got up, went to fast offerings like fifteen minutes late, and had to walk up the biggest hill in my neighborhood to fulfill my priesthood duties.

Then I went to church, learned about Revelations, then about Missionaries, and then I got to come home for the rest of the night. That was nice. I hate having to do things after church. We played a couple board games and the N64, ate dinner, and watched some Christmas movies.

Now my mom's telling me to get off her computer or she's going to kill me. That means that I have to go to bed in the next five minutes, or when I do go to bed, I'll never wake up.

TTFN! Ta-ta for now!
